He's right with the used cars and right with the new car warranty. The thing is... listen close.... you will get a lower interest rate on a new car with the extended warranty. Why not put that warranty to work instead of putting that interest money in the lenders pocket?..

I bought a CPO Lexus from a Lexus dealership ... Yes. there is an extended warranty BUT it is an "after-market warranty" not associated with the dealership or the manufacturer ... I subsequently had a problem with a shock absorber ... finally, after several telephone calls and my comment that "perhaps" Lexus and Toyota should be advised that the "extended warranty" is a sort of "bait and switch" incentive to by a CPO vehicle, the warranty company reluctantly agreed to replace it ... perhaps it would be a good idea for you to advise that the warranty is "after-market."

I got a 2022 Hyundai Kona N and this is the 2nd time the Engine fails. No power and the Engine light appear. I have those warranties, but... if this keeps happening (engine problems), they have to replace my Kona N for a New one or a new engine, or what?? I would like to know what can I do.

Hi thanks for sharing and enlightening information on bumper to bumper warranty’s. Mine appears to be useless. I needed lower control arm left and right replaced because they were torn, needed two front struts that was leaking and a bunch of fluid changes like transmission, transfer case, brake fluid, etc which my warranty didn’t cover because the shop recommended maintenance and not failed parts. Cost me $2300+! I cancelled the warranty immediately and ask him why did he sell me such a useless warranty, no answer. Now I’m left with a 2016 MDX and no warranty. Any suggestions as to how I can purchase a worthy warranty? Annemarie C

Thank you. Trying to decide if I should buy out my lease and then just found out the amount of the CA DMV and tax on top of that. Holly crap that alone is $2,900. That takes away from my equity I thought I was getting if I bought out my lease. My overall goal was to buy my lease and then use it as a trade in for around $5K so I have a healthy down, yet that tax just broke my happy bubble. To make matters worse, it seems the used car market is getting flooded so my CARMAX quote just went down $1,000. in less than two weeks, no bueno. Now contemplating selling it on my own If I buy it today to get more money than a trade in or selling to CARMAX (something Ive never done before) or ust turing the lease back in instead of trying to make a couple grand in a used car market that is taking a diver. All the quotes Im getting dont ever cover my payoff or taxes yet online at the dealership they are selling my same car for around $5K more than my payoff. And I just put new tires all the way around which cost me $1,000. What would you or anyone reading this do?

Hey I jus bought a certified Kia an was charged 2700 for vehicle certification an now after 2 weeks the car left my wife on the side of the road in the rain before Kia roadside came an when they did was told I couldn't have my car towed to the dealer of purchase because it was more than 25 miles I was also charged by this dealer 200 for performing a diagnostic turns out it's a bad fuel pump now shouldn't this have been looked at while it was going thru it's certification process and before anyone mentions gas I only use 93 octane and we have only had the car for 2 weeks an the issue started when putting the car from eco mode to sports mode in any event my wife had to leave work to come grt me because my keys failed now it might be a small thing to some but to have this happen all within 14 days sounds like the cars certification process was either done improperly or things were neglected also the fee 65 for my title transfer was not given back till I gave them the bank info the salesman was nice enough but to go thru all this within 2 weeks does not give me confidence and as of this moment unless issues are resolved will not recommend a Kia any advise will be greatly appreciated.
